Kamusta Kayo! hope that you had a great week, we sure did.

This week started off pretty good. Tuesday we had some good work in a far area. But as we were starting our last lesson, there were some rambunctious youths, looking to cause trouble. So we were forced to stay inside until they left, which was pretty late. So we didn't get out in time to have a ride home. Then our bishop was going to try and get a tricey out to us. But he couldn't so he came with his motorcycle. We called president to see if this once, because of the hoodlums and distance, we could ride it. He said NO. So we jogged/ walked 7KM back to our house. It was a long walk. But fun and we were quite safe.

But that leads us to Wednesday. Elder Vidal, who usually doesn't look for excuses couldn't work at all that day, both really sore and Really sick. So we just took care of stuff here. Then Thursday we had some good work. Wasn't bad but it rained like all day. That wasn't very fun. Well it rained like all day this week.

Friday was another good day. The sisters in our zone were moving, so we planned on helping them a little bit then going straight to work. Well helping a little bit turned into helping like all day, in the rain. We had to load four people worth of sisters stuff into a jeep. So we were waiting around a lot. But it was some good fun. But we needed to load them into their house which took less time, but it was pretty time filling too. We got home soaked but thoroughly fulfilled.

Saturday wasn't too bad. We got punted around a little bit. But we did meet some new people, so we should be able to help them as well. We worked with two of our future missionaries in the ward. They were pretty good. Mostly they were pretty shy but were willing to do some teaching.

Then Sunday was a pretty good day too. We had a lot of people at church. Many were there for like the first time in ages. They just decided to come back. But I somehow, again, got swindled into teaching the Gospel Essentials class. It was on the creation and the fall. So I tried to do it as simply as possible, using the chalk board. I think I got the point across. I don't really know what I was trying to get across but I got it there. Then we went on Splits to cover more ground. I went with the Future missionaries. It was my first time leading the area. But luckily they knew where they were going more than I did. We got punted, which was a good lesson for them. But they also learned the principle teach when you find. We were asking for directions to a house, they invited us in. So we started to teach them. I guess that one of the people we were teaching had listened to us before, but the one we were actually teaching hadn't. It was a good experience. Then as we were coming home I saw a karabaw, or water buffalo. I had to get a picture on it. So I asked the owner if I could, he said it was a pretty funny request, but allowed me to.

Yeah we are pretty busy here in San Jose. It is a fun area, and I have a great companion, he is a pretty funny guy, but hard working as well. So I got lucky this transfer.
Hope all is well at home.

Love,
Elder Westenskow
