Merry Christmas!!!

MAGOMANG PASKO!!!

We had a very wonderful Christmas week. It was awesome. Well kinda

Christmas was great. We went to some of people in the morning to just drop by, but like no one was home. So we went home and did some Christmas stuff until 2 in the after noon. Which before we get to into it. We had people singing nextdoor until 2 in the morning Christmas eve. Which gave me perfect cover to stuff a stocking for my companion full of chocolates and what not. In the morning I told him to check it. He looked in side and said. No man this is you. It was pretty cool. He liked the stuff inside. The Christmas party at the mission home was super nice. Had games to play people to talk to and ham and cheesy potatoes to eat. It was all really fun. Then we had a devotional. Given by a video of Elder Bednar talking about his new book about the Atonement.Really awesome.

Then after that the week was kind of lame. Nobody was home but we kept going around trying to talk to someone. Although from the few lessons we had we had some really great lessons. Most of them involved a less active who hadn't gone to church in a while for who knows why. But we decided to listen. Instead of getting less than patient with them I really tried to see their point of view, it worked. Most of the time we were able to extend a commitment to go to church on the next week. Most of them said they would try, not the ok if it will get you to leave commitment but the legitimate commitment. Another lesson we taught a semi investigator about prayer. This time we really taught prayer and explained the benefits of prayer. Instead of arguing about not wanting to pray at the end of the lesson she quickly agreed to it. Very awesome.
This Saturday we had an awesome opportunity to do some CSP. We went to a farm in the sisters area, Then with machetes we started to hack down elephant grass. Never again will I complain about doing yard work again. (ok maybe not. but now I have a reason for my kids to work hard) It was really exciting, but as usual I forgot to take some precaution so I got completely fried, wearing a shirt collar again was not so fun to do.

But a great testimony to the love God has for each of us this week. On Saturday I lost my camera in a jeep. Gone. So as I went to go back to see if I could find it, naturally I said a prayer to at least guide me. Get back to the terminal, no jeep. So I just say oh well some one got a free camera. Go on through my day as usual. Then Sunday we get a text from the office elders. The jeep guy brought in my camera to the church to drop off. I guess he left his address so the elders are going to find him, and I have my camera.

Well that was about it for this week, hope your weeks were just as spirit filled as mine.
